Sequin Kay, a British contemporary multidisciplinary artist who exhibits internationally, and Hylemo, a creative agency, architecture studio and production company have joined together to create The Peace Pyramid.

A glittering construction of ingenuity, design and beauty, The Peace Pyramid is a meditation chamber, a place for individuals to be at peace and to explore inner sanctity.

A collaboration between Kay and Hylemo, The Peace Pyramid acts as an invitation for people to open up their inner paths to outer space, a gateway into the metaphysical, dream state experience; a creative fusion of architecture, metaphysics and the visual arts.

An exciting venture in new unchartered territory for architecture and contemporary art and design, the intention behind The Peace Pyramid is to construct a sculpture which blends the two visual aspects and philosophies of both creatives, with the ultimate aim of changing consciousness through the power of visual art.

Based on the teachings of pyramidology and Egyptology within the modern day context, the majestic sculpture of The Peace Pyramid is an energetically active piece looking to resonate energy, standing at 160cm x 160cm width and 205cm in height.

By entering the pyramidal structure, participants are encouraged to become aware of their subconscious through active meditation and contemplation, allowing sitters and viewers to connect to their intuitive awareness through a visual and physical stimulus. The patterns used in the design were selected as powerful visual tools which contain and depict the fundamental forms of space and time.

The Peace Pyramid is available for private hire across the UK for a multitude of private events and festivals, creating the perfect powerful visual experience for guests to enjoy.

Sequin Kay formally trained in Fine Art and Painting at Camberwell College of Arts and Goldsmiths University in London. While her multifaceted artworks explore Higher Sense Perception, Metaphysics and Quantum Reality, Sequin’s signature art-works offer a window into the power of unseen energy.

An experiential artist, her works explore the intriguing beauty, transformative power and paradoxical nature of healing, destruction and personal chaos. Her practise expands across multi-disciplines and mediums such as; mixed media textiles, sculpture, painting, digital projection art and hand illustration.

Her work has been exhibited extensively in London, including the Moniker Art Fair, Clerkenwell Design Week, The Smallest Gallery in Soho and Dulwich Picture Gallery. International exhibitions include showcases in Costa Rica, Miami, Ibiza, Canada, Berlin, Ireland, Spain and Malta.

Founded in 2016 by Josh Haywood and Harry Bowen, Hylemo is an international architectural studio and creative agency that specialises in computational design. The name Hylemo is a derivation from ‘hylemorphism’, a philosophical theory developed by Aristotle, which conceives of being as a compound of matter and form.

Alongside The Peace Pyramid, Sequin Kay’s latest collection, The Zodiac 2020 Collection, is a beautiful and powerful exploration of the zodiac, inspired by astrology and psychology.

Created in the UK - during the events of the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown - Sequin formed the collection following an intense year-long process of research, design and creation. Each piece of art is unique and lovingly created by hand.

Consisting of 13 pieces, named after each Zodiac sign, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces and Ophiuchus, each individual piece in the collection has been researched and interpreted intuitively from Sequin’s personal visions.

The Zodiac collection is available to purchase as a whole, with each piece sized at 62cm in diameter. Limited edition Giclee Prints are also available for purchase, hand signed by Sequin herself. Each print is priced at £60, unframed and sized 42cm x 42cm.
